Workshop: “eTwinning & the family” / Rute Baptista & Rita Zurrapa

20141129_103521Teachers know how important it is to be in contact with students families. Also me 🙂 Communicating with parents, involving them in class and project life always give back a more motivated students ! But I never try to think about it more, because the teaching material always seems the dominated importance.

After Ruta Baptista and Rita Zurrapa workshop “eTwinning & the family” I start to think about cooperation with families more seriously .. it could be included also on eTwinning projects !

We live in time, when generations live separated, and don’t communicated much – in schools children are divided by age, also later, when kids becomes an adult – they communicate on workplaces with people like themselves. Maybe schools – by involving families with parents, grandparents, brothers and sisters could make this generations communication gap a little smaller …

Some useful ideas about school and family cooperation:

Thanks Rute Baptista & Rita Zurrapa for show us this interesting theme in so joyful and attractive way 🙂 For me this workshop was the last one on Rome conference list – so it was like good inspire with bright taste for future ideas 🙂

Workshop: “Twitter in the class and staffroom”
Bart Verswijvel (@BartVerswijvel) and Arjana Blazic (@abfromz)

Most of new technologies tools are not produced for education needs,  but, .. fortunately there are people who find out and share how to use that tools for education 🙂

TWITTER is definitely one of that tools, that is NOT educational native tool.  Anyway, it seems that exactly TWITTER could have a lot of handicaped educational features.

Bart Verswijvel in Rome and Arjana Blazic online from USA on workshop “Twitter in the class and staffroom” show us exciting presentation with lot of ideas about what to do with twitter.

Actually, I am very surprised about all that possibilities!
So I learned that twitter is not only for tweet some news about my live, as I thought before 😀

I find out, that with twitter we can find or share resources, we can organise polls and group tweets and much more ! I learned also about hashtags, retweets, twitter walls and thunderclap, ..

During that presentation we also were welcomed for try and interact many twitter possibilities tasks. Unfortunately, internet connection was very poor, actually it stopped to be here .. so I don’t enjoy and understand exactly everything.

Thanks this workshop I feel now that i made my first step in absolutely wonderful, democratic and great opportunities WORLD OF TWITTER COMMUNITY ! hope I will have enough knowledges for to go forward 🙂

P.S.  Just recently I take a part also on Bart Verswijvel and Arjana Blazic eTwinning Learning Event “Augmented eTwinning reality”. I recommend – if you want learn some new technologies – take part on this event (if it will be held again!)! There was a lot of very useful materials, prepared in so CREATIVE way, that all of us (event students) was feel so really enthusiastic motivated to follow all the tasks 🙂

That is why I choose to come on the workshop “Dramatic Lectures! Drama techniques for speaking in public”, hoped to gain some new knowledge and experience in acting: how to address the audience or how to keep the audience’s attention.

In fact, the benefit from workshop was even higher as I expect.

10806281_10203492288247820_1220481673536447024_nDuring very short time, we get so MANY ! useful information – explanation about main acting aspects (body, voice, rhythm, listening and text), we see various examples, do exciting exercises, … ! During that all we find out that our body is NOT SPHERICAL 🙂 and that we can TRAIN our voice (just like we train the muscles!), .. that we can DOMINATE over our text message, .. and much more !

So … you would like to learn how to be NOT BORING person ? and how to help our students learn and understand well all that useful things we teach for them ? Than look for NSS Spain Diego Rojas and Speakers TBC Annette Westerop and Mirian Olga Cecilia Martinez workshops 🙂
